Hi all....haiz..... so sianz....i had a 5 day weekend. Monday no lectures...than tuesday, my lab got cancelled.....and today....all lectures cancelled. I think the lecturers went on strike on tues cos of their pay.....my department only lar...Xylia they all had to go for lessons. hehehhe  But than.....my morning lectures on tues was not cancelled as well lar...but i decided to go on strike as well. To support my lecturers. They beri poor thing leh! Come to think of it.......
Oh u know wat! Apparently, the local students were demonstrating cos of tuition fee increase thing. And they were throwing flour at the uni head office building!  Interesting huh? Got police and all! hahaha......but i can't confirm it lar......was sleeping during the demonstration.....dreaming of u know who! hahahaha 
Yar anyways.....strikes aside. I have a presentation tmr....yes...on pico-bloody-eukaroytes. You would think that since i have a 5 day weekend, i would have done it liaoz....but nooo....i dun even know wat the hell pico-eukaryotes are! All i a singel diagram. And that diagram is crap! But hey....its not assessed, so i'm not stressing. Yar well...i watched Reserviour Dogs just now, neber watch b4. Alright lar...pple say until like so nice like that. Could have done me presentation in that time sia. Haiz....u think i should just....erm....not turn up for my tutorial? hmph?? Haiz....i'll think about it...see how much i can do for the presentation. 
Anyways....yar...these few days boring leh. On Tues night cooked chicken rice. And the hi-light of yesterday was bursting a pimple. So interesting rightz? hmmmz....i think i better get off the net and crack on me presentation. Pico-eukaryotes. All i know is that they are REALLY REALLY small eukarayotes. And i bet even Xylia could have guessed that!  Hehehehehhehe....ok lar.........till the next posting!

It's now 3:50am. Been drinking since 12midnight! hahah....went to eat fish and chips at Grimsby with Beh, James, Michelle,Melissa, Roy and Christian, than all of us, except James, Mel and Christian went to watch Big Fish. Which was really nice and sweet. Haiz...too bad no char boh to share it with. Anyways...than after that, went to Mel's corridor to drink. Played a lot of of tai di.  Got Jenny very red and drunk in the process!  hahah......ok lar...i am very new to tai di....so also drank quite a lot....but hey...all those training i have at pubs since 14 really pays off, so i can still type this post!
Well.....i think everyone but Roy got quite high.....including me! I feel so light headed.....everybody looks so beautiful............................. HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH!

Hi all! Today was another amusing day. Last night, went online to check me timetable, and was sure i only had afternoon lectures from 2:30 all the way until 5:30, no breaks. Than at 10:30am, me coursemate sms me and said "i guess u forgotten about our genes tutorial?" Hhahaha..yar...had no idea, completely forgotten. So nvm, she helped me get me problem sheet for the next tutorial, and so no problems. Than at 2:30pm. GOt 2 hrs research skills lecture. As usual must sign attendence, and i thought i won't be that bad, so i turned up. And the topic was "Advanced Presentation Skills"! She went on and on on some body language, y bringing a drink is useful. At one time, she has an OHP with a castle, signposts and some other shit....talking about the 'paths of a good presentation' AND there was no attendence marking! Wah sianz...waste time. So at 3:30pm, i left the lecture hall and went to Adrain Building, go check me pigeon hole thing. And there was Dr Nicola Something. SHe gives me lectures and is in charge of this morning tutorial. And i thought, no problem lor....no professor remembers everyone in the tutorial. There is like 50 of is lor! SHit sia...i was wrong. She said "Oh Mr Chen, where were u this morning?" Wah...i zhi tao stun diao lor! So i just told her the truth, that i completely forgotten about it and did not turn up. BUt she took it well, told me wat happened in the tutorial, and told me she passed the problem sheet to Manualla! SHE REMEMBERS MY COURSE MATE'S NAME AS WELL!!!! Scary sia!!! Than she told me to check me timetable more often.... HAhahahha....wah....i really really have to attend her lectures lor!! My goodness........anyways.....after that i went up to the PC room and so here i am! wasting time for the next 25mins.....hahahah..
I'll try to load the lab photos from me phone again...but haiz...dun expect anything anytime soon!

Yo harlow...was Mel's birthday on yesterday. So went to terracotta and eat.....damn a lot of pple came sia, shows how popular she is. I bet u when me birthday comes, even my gerbils will ignore me! Damn them.....hmmz....i'll starve them tmr. Pre-emptive strike. They dun even listen to me when i talk with them. Too much rightz? yar..... i will ban them from milk droplets liaoz....i'll bloody well eat them for myself!

Blackbird

This is Lytton Road's resident male blackbird. Today, some other blackbird trespassed his territory and they fought quite viciously...lots of noise. OF course i can't tell the difference between the 2, so lets just assume that the old resident blackbird won..... anyways...in me animal behaviour module, i learnt that in disputes over territory, 80% of the battle fought are won by the resident male. Something about the resident male being older and have less things to lose...blah blah blah......
Today! Since i dun need to retake anything, i decided to start throwing me notes into me organic paper shedding device. I wrapped sunflower seeds in them to make things interesting. I think i dun need to buy bedding liaoz.....

Test details
BS2060 Experimental design assessment
The Experimental design aspect of the module will be assessed in the form of a short test to be held at 9:30 Friday 13th Feb.
This test will take place in MSB rooms 223 to 225 (PLEASE NOTE ROOM CHANGE FROM ORIGINAL TIMETABLE)
The test will cover material given in the lectures and work sessions on experimental design (Dr Hennessy and Dr Ennion) and will consist of:
25 multiple choice questions (no negative marking will be used)
7 short answer questions.
Most students should complete the test within 1 hour. The maximum time allowed will be 1.5 hours.
Last year the highest score on the test was 98%. If a student equals or beats 98% this year, I will buy them a book token for the University book shop (S.Ennion)
Please note that this test will count to 25% of the final module mark.
Hmmmz....i just read all of the above at 12.05am today....hmmmz.....

Haiz....these few days beri the sian for me. All the work is piling up....and since i lost my timetable, and no...i can't be bothered to replace my timetable cos my department happy happy always change it.....so i'll leave it to the fate of god to decide whether i attend lectures liaoz! hahaha...but so far, quite ok lar....been going to wrong lecture theatres most of the time, but i do it so often, i dun even feel pai seh anymore. 0) Anyways.....just realized i got tutorial today, yesterday, if u know wat i mean. And supposed to have PRESENTATION! Luckily, i discovered i am Speaker 9, and so, my presentation is for 26th Feb instead. Than! I JUST remembered that i have to hand in a problem sheet today. I kinda finish it lar....but it's all scribbles, and most of the answers are wrong. Haiz......too beri bad thanz.................
Oh yar....i kinda went out of point of uploading photos...i took pics with me hp during lab 2 days ago....when we were carrying agarose gel electrophoresis of families of DNA........but i cannot read the photos from the hp memory stick leh! Irritating...tmr will try....wait....SHIT....can't do that tmr....cos tmr I GOT A TEST! And this time its assessed....arh!!! Crap lar..........FUUU.........nah beh CHe..........

Talking with my dad on the phone and typing.....haiz...same old thing. Told him about me results....DID NOT LIE! And he was quite ok about it....since last year i got worse! Hahhaha...... well.....its the same, "Go lecture everyday......after lecture go library. Even if weather bad must go....and dun go....must go on Sunday and Monday to make it up....blah blah blah......" Oh...something new today....he brought up the 19 chinese pple who died while picking up cockles....than goes as usal...how lucky u are.....must cherish......oh god...i'm falling asleep. Well....since he boring me, i should not go bore u all as well lar! Save u from my misery. But really....i'm going..."yes yes.....hmph......erm....yar....yup.....ok....yar" for the past 15mins liaoz.....sianz..........oh...now he going on how important i have to carry out exercise everyday....must do sit-up, push up everyday.....blah blah blah....something about if u dun respect ur body....no one else will  ....... aiyoh....si beh luo suo........waste my phonecard sia.......

Ok fine...i desperate to get photos up! So here, the photos of our annual trip to the Singapore Zoological Gardens with Micheal and Hazel....erm....sometime last year.....anyways....it seems very not long ago...so its valid for this page.
Wah...looking at the photos...i am slightly chubby lor! And damn...i am so tan! Now...haiz...lost 5 kg or more......even the last hole on me belt does not really help anymore.....and i'm so white, my arm hair are so damn obvious.......
Anyways...hope we can continue this zoo thingy when i get home this june....

Oh SHIT!! My goodness...i was just checking my timetable, and i just just JUST realized that i have been having 8:30am lectures every tuesday! And all that time i was laughing at Xylia for having an 8:30 lecture!! Arh well........luckily they provide the notes on the internet........ Phew..........
